Description
Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche teaches on Buddha’s view of equality, explaining that from the earliest Hinayana to the profound Vajrayana teachings, Buddha taught that men and women, people of high and low caste, humans of every kind and even non-humans, all possess the same potential for enlightenment. Rinpoche also explains the differences among conceptual certainty, meditation experience, and realization. Finally, he shows that Buddha’s teachings provide the basis for genuine peace in the world. This teaching concludes with Q&A during which the topic of gender equality is again explored. Translated by Lama Yeshe Gyamtso. One Talk. This recording has chapter points.

- Chapter Pointing on DVD video recordings
In this recording, chapter points have been set at each transition from Tibetan to English and from English to Tibetan. Because Rinpoche sometimes speaks in Tibetan for long periods at a time, some viewers may wish to jump forward to the English translation (at any time) by using the Next Chapter button (>>|) on their DVD player’s remote control. Also, for those who primarily speak Tibetan, the same process works for jumping from the English to the Tibetan.
