Shinay Instructions (ADN)

Description

Rinpoche gave Shinay instructions as part of two talks in his 2002 teachings on Saraha’s Doha for the King in Crestone, CO. Those two excerpts have been compiled into one CD. This 24 minute teaching is a wonderful source of practice instruction for individuals who are new to the practice of meditation. Even if you have been meditating for some period of time, you may find it helpful to listen to these instructions to ensure that you are getting the most out of your meditation practice. Translated by Lama Yeshe Gyamtso. One talk as an audio download. This audio recording is edited in the "Mainly English" format.

Because Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche spoke for long periods of time in Tibetan, his long monologues have been curtailed so that the continuity of the English translations of these teaching is not broken. Thus, the voice heard for the vast majority of the time is that of the translator, Lama Yeshe Gyamtso. The unedited teaching (including all Tibetan) is available on DVD.
