Description
Whether directed at others or experienced in response to difficult
situations, anger is an enemy that can be tamed by its antidote,
patience. Bardor Tulku Rinpoche teaches Shantideva’s chapter on
patience in The Bodhicharyavatara.
Rinpoche bases his
commentary on Jamyang Lamai Shalung Dutsi Tikpa (Drops of Amrita from
the Mouth of Guru Manjushri) by Khenpo Kunzang Palden. He shows
how to work with anger in the context of everyday experience. With
relentless logic, this teaching demonstrates that situations of
conflict, endured and resolved through patience, present occasions for
spiritual growth. Translated by Lama Yeshe Gyamtso. Four talks as an audio download. Edited in a mainly English format with the Tibetan monologues
curtailed.
