Description
The Vajrayana tradition of Buddhism holds that our emotions, in their essence, are undifferentiable from our enlightened true nature and that we can realize this by relating to emotions skillfully. Developing this skillfulness in relation to our most destructive emotions can be challenging, and it usually requires a gradual process of familiarization with our minds. With creativity and humor, Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche shares his unique insights into how this process unfolds and presents pithy techniques for transforming emotions from sources of frustration into delightful reminders of the awakened heart. Rinpoche entertained questions during the second talk. Although this teaching is short, the material Rinpoche shares in these two talks is simultaneously profound and extremely accessible. These teachings were given on the third stop on Rinpoche’s 2013 North East Tour. 2 talks.
DVD recordings are available for these talks in Philadelphia. DVD and Audio Download recordings are also available for the entire tour.
